Picking paint colors is super fun and super stressful for us. We think about colors for months and months before we commit. Its funny because paint is the quickest and easiest thing you can do to really change a room, yet we treat it like we are knocking down a wall or something! We picked out dining room colors about a month and a half ago and this weekend we are going to review them and make sure we still like them. One exercise we did was using this tool we wrote about a while back. Even back in April we were trying to figure out paint colors! We dragged in an inspiration photo and were given a color story to work with. Genius. Remember this?
We still love this room, but decided this color was too dark and would shrink the room. Now we need more inspiration. The folks at Glidden have wowed us again with a great showcase of before and after’s. We included a few of our own before and after’s and it caught the eye of a pretty great DIY blogger, Brittany! She made a great post about how useful this tool is, using our rooms as examples. She had us cracking up.
