Yes I am. Nom, nom, nom. I am at this point where I want to want to crave stuff in this pregnancy, so I have been feverishly making “to-cook” and “to-bake” lists and making Joey have lengthy conversations with me about where we are going to go eat and what I am going to eat when I am capable of leaving the house. It’s a big deal around here. I thought I would share some of my pinterst hoarding today before I actually hit the kitchen and start cooking until I drop. I am going to start with something I am unlikely to actually take the time to make, but would totally eat if you came over and baked it for me.
Seriously. How cute is this? Can you imagine being a kid and opening your lunchbox to this bread hugging your pb&j? OK, enough with the cute food I find on pinterest, I want to talk down and dirty food I am excited to be able to eat after this nausea passes and I am like all the other pregnant ladies in the world who are indulging happily!
Oh, hello jalapeño! Hello cheese! This jalapeño popper dip is exactly something I will be shoving in my face post puke fest. I can handle me some spicy. We literally go through the tabasco gallons in this house. Granted that’s mostly Joey’s fault, but still, I can handle my spices. Right now I can’t even handle a cinnabear so, when the day comes, I am going to start with episode 1, season 1 of Gilmore Girls, and a bowl of this dip and chips. I am excited just typing about it!
Ohhhhh potato. Potato + cheddar soup. Potato + cheddar soup with no effort because the crockpot does all the work for you! Thanks Mama Loves Food! Granted I will need to alter the stock and bacon to make this vegetarian friendly, but I am just as excited to chow on this as any carnivore. Imagine smelling this all day as it cooks. Beautiful torture.
Ohhhh. Another dip. This time instead of Gilmore Girls, I think me and the full box set of Felicity would make good partners for this Texas Bean Dip. I suppose anything with a bunch of cheese melted looks amazing right now. I could probably live on coming of age box sets and dips for the rest of my life.
This is a “I should wait until the baby comes treat”. I can’t really have caffeine, and I just found out I can’t have tiramisu (or frozen yogurt?!) because of the raw eggs and the espresso. This recipe is vegetarian and omits the eggs, so I may have a break down and eat this one before baby comes.
Oh yes. These I may not be able to wait to bake on my own. I may actually have someone make them for me. Joey, think you can handle it? These look heavenly. Perfect. I just so happen to have a bag of vegan marshmallows with s’mores cookies written all over them.
So basically I want to want to eat cheese, bread, potatoes, and sugar. Not exactly a balanced diet for a pregnant lady. Can’t wait to be able to handles these foods and tell you all about it. Any sinful recommendations?
